Waitlist privacy notice
Version v1.1, effective 1 November 2026. This notice explains how FanSpace LLC uses your details when you join the waitlist for early access to the FanSpace app.
Who we are
FanSpace LLC, 8 The Green, Suite B, Dover, Delaware 19901, USA. We decide how your details are used. Privacy contact: techteam@fanspace.ai.
What we collect
- Your email address.
- Your confirmation that you are 18 or over.
- The time you joined and which version of this notice you saw.
- The country your connection comes from, when our network provider supplies it. We do not store your IP address.
- How you found us (for example a campaign link or a friend's referral link) and, if you joined through a friend, whose link it was.
- Optionally, your favourite competition and team.
- Whether our emails to you were delivered, bounced or marked as spam.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
- To keep your place on the waitlist and email you about early access to the FanSpace app, including your invitation. Legal basis: your consent, given when you join.
- To give you a referral link and count friends who join with it. Fans with more referrals may be invited earlier. The friend who shared a link sees only how many people joined with it, never their names or emails. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in growing the waitlist fairly.
- To keep the waitlist free of bots, fake and duplicate signups, and to stop emailing addresses that bounce or complain. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure, reliable service.
We do not send marketing beyond early access, and we do not sell your details. Joining the waitlist does not create a FanSpace account. FanSpace never emails people you share your link with.
Cookies and similar technology
This site sets no cookies. A friend's referral link carries their code in the web address only. The bot check (Cloudflare Turnstile) runs in your browser and uses your IP address and browser signals to tell people from bots.
Who processes it for us
- IONOS: hosting of our servers and database.
- Cloudflare: bot protection (Turnstile), and website delivery and security where used.
- Resend: sending our emails and reporting whether they were delivered.
Each acts only on our instructions under a data processing agreement.
Where it is stored
Your details are stored on IONOS servers in the United Kingdom and the European Union. Cloudflare and Resend may process them in the United States and other countries. Where your details leave the UK or the EU, we rely on the safeguards in those providers' data processing agreements, such as standard contractual clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
How long we keep it
If you unsubscribe, we stop emailing you immediately and keep only what we need to make sure you are not emailed again. Otherwise we delete waitlist records 12 months after early access opens, unless you create a FanSpace account.
Under-18s
The waitlist is for people aged 18 or over. If we learn that a record belongs to someone under 18, we delete it.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your details, object to how we use them, or ask for a copy in a portable format. You can withdraw consent at any time with the unsubscribe link in any email, or by writing to techteam@fanspace.ai. We reply within one month. You can also complain to the regulator where you live (below).
